SOUTHERN League Division One South & West club Shortwood United will receive a windfall of £67,500 from The FA’s broadcast fund.
United welcome League One side Port Vale to the Meadowbank Ground in the First Round of The FA Cup on Monday, November 11.
The game has been selected as one of three First Round ties to be shown live on television, resulting in the Woods picking up a healthy five-figure sum.
Should they cause an upset and beat the Valiants they will also pocket £18,000 from The FA’s prize fund.
Meanwhile, the games between Boreham Wood and Carlisle United, Hednesford Town and Crawley and Gloucester City and Fleetwood have been selected as TV highlight games and the clubs involved will earn £6,750 each.
