PICKERING TOWN have appointed Mitch Cook as their new first team manager.
Cook is a familiar face to those at Mill Lane, having managed the club between September 2010 and May 2011.
After leaving the Pikes he took charge at Bridlington Town and remained there until June this year when he resigned due to work commitments.
He is now back at the helm of the Northern Counties East Premier Division side and his return has seen club coaches Steve Brown and Dean McCauley depart.
A statement on the club’s website said: “The club would like to thank coaches Steve Brown and Dean McCauley for all their hard work since December 2011 and for their commitment in taking charge of the team on Saturday against Thackley.
“However, they indicated they did not wish to continue in their coaching capacity at the club.
“They have been stalwarts for Pickering Town Football Club for many years and will always be welcomed back at the club.”
The club have also announced that a number of players have left.
