SKRILL Premier club Salisbury City have announced that they have officially exited administration.
The club went into administration back in September 2009 and were later demoted two divisions after breaching Conference rules.
A takeover in 2010 saw the club begin to address their financial situation and since the arrival of chairman William Harrison-Allan and his consortium, the Whites have gone from strength-to-strength.
Two promotions via the play-offs have seen the Wiltshire outfit regain their Step 1 status and they currently lie in a comfortable mid-table position in the Skrill Premier.
The club hope that that on-field success can continue now they are back on an even keel and are optimistic of a bright future at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
A statement posted on the club’s website said: “The board of directors at Salisbury City FC are delighted to announce that we have fulfilled our obligations under the CVA and are therefore out of administration.
“Now the club’s financial affairs are in order, it will shore up the underpinnings of the team, and provide a sound base to develop the squad further, promoting continued success.
“The board of directors wishes to thank everyone that has made this achievement possible, and are looking forward to Salisbury City Football Club’s bright future.”
