THREE AFC Hayes players have been suspended from all footballing activity after admitting multiple breaches of The FA’s Betting Rules.
Striker Lawrence Shennan has been handed a two-year ban and fined £580.20, a figure that includes a £320.20 net profit he made on bets he placed.
Goalkeeper Ben Goode will spend a year on the sidelines and has been fined £606.42, £456.42 of which was net profit made from bets.
Chevy Hart, a defender who is no longer with the Southern League Division One Central outfit, has been banned from football for four months and fined £145.65, which includes the £45.65 net profit from bets.
Shennan and Goode have requested written reasons for the bans and fines before they decide whether to appeal The FA’s ruling.
