Foster Swaps Gills for Frome Hotseat

ADRIAN FOSTER has confirmed he has left to become the new manager of Calor League Premier .

Frome parted company with boss Brian O’Donnell on Saturday after just 13 games in charge with the Robins one place above the relegation zone. His last game in charge was a 7-0 thrashing at last Tuesday.

Foster, who will jump two divisions to take up the role at Frome, had led Gillingham to second in the Premier this season.

However, the Gills decided against applying for promotion this campaign and Foster admitted the opportunity to manage higher was too attractive to refuse.

“I’m excited at the opportunity but gutted at the same time, as the Gills have been a massive part of my life for the last six years.

“I’m leaving on a high though as the Gills are second in the league and they are a great group of lads who are playing some good .”
