BANBURY UNITED‘S Kynan Isaac has been given a seven game suspension by the Football Association.
Winger Isaac was accused of racially abusing an assistant referee after the Puritans’ final home game of last season against Bedford Town in the Calor League Premier.
The 20-year-old has impressed at the Spencer Stadium during his spell with the club, had trials with both Ipswich and Luton Town in the summer and has been tipped to play higher by boss Edwin Stein.
However, after failing to nail a deal higher up the Pyramid, he began the season at Banbury and has scored seven league goals so far, helping the Puritans up to tenth in the table.
After coming through the ranks at Reading, Isaac joined Oxford City before making the switch to Banbury.
Following a hearing, the youngster will have to sit out seven games. His ban will begin with Saturday’s Calor League Premier game against Arlesey Town after the Puritans’ recent scheduled matches against Stourbridge and Cambridge City were postponed.
