Burr Leaves Kidderminster

HARRIERS boss has shocked by leaving Aggborough with immediate effect.

Kiddy drew 0-0 with League One Peterborough on Saturday in the and had a replay to look forward to next week.

And they are still in the running for promotion back into the League, currently sitting seventh in the Skrill Premier after losing in the play-off semi-finals last season.

Burr, a former Nuneaton, Hucknall, and Stalybridge boss, turned down an approach from to become their new manager in November and will now be looking for a new job following four years at Aggborough.

A Kidderminster statement read: “Everybody at the club would like to place on record its unreserved thanks to Steve for his efforts whilst in post.

“The board of directors would like to state explicitly again that its sole ambition for this season is to achieve promotion back to the Football League and that they are fully committed to taking whatever step necessary to reach that goal.

“No further comment will be made by the club at this stage.”
