MANY thanks to one of our keen point checkers who discovered a strange problem in the January Manager of the Month totals.
While his team’s season points add up precisely, the monthly points total didn’t and after looking at my calculations, I found that the January monthly points for his substitute teams were not being registered in the monthly formula.
This has now been rectified and that ever so slightly changes the shape of the January Manager of the Month table.
This week has also seen a change at the top of the main FNL table with Fishermans Walk, on top of the pile since the middle of September, slipping down to third place.
Ironically, the team are actually 102 points better off with their substitutions in place.
In two weeks time, I will be running my first substitute comparison report. As it stands at the moment I have only had three requests to feature in this, so if you want to see how you would have been doing if you hadn’t made those changes then please let me know.

1. Mighty Mango 1,149pts (17th)
2. Abandon Hope 1,137pts (41st)
3. PickUpForDave 1,121pts (67th)
