Durrell Becomes A Dragon

top scorer Elliott Durrell has made the move into professional with Skrill Premier .

Durrell, 24, helped the Pitmen gain promotion to the Skrill North last season and has continued his fantastic form this campaign. He’s scored a whopping 58 times in 95 games over the past two years.

An attacking midfielder, Durrell is also a set-piece master and gained national headlines last week after scoring a solo wonder goal against Bradford Park Avenue that got him likened to Argentine legend Diego Maradona.

The former AFC Telford man has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including FC Halifax, but has now left Hednesford for the Racecourse, with Wrexham currently 13th in the table after a stop-and-start campaign.

Durrell has signed an 18-month contract with Andy Morrell’s men after the two clubs agreed on an undisclosed fee but is unlikely to make his debut against tomorrow while the Dragons wait for international clearance.
