LINCOLN CITY have handed ex-Sheffield Wednesday frontman Vadaine Oliver a one-year deal at Sincil Bank.
The 20-year-old left Wednesday earlier this summer following two years as a professional at Hillsborough.
He arrived at Lincoln ahead of the club’s Lincolnshire County Senior Cup final defeat at the hands of Grimsby Town on Tuesday night, a game in which he played half-an-hour.
His performance convinced Imps boss David Holdsworth a permanent deal with the club and he has now signed on for their 2012/13 Blue Square Bet Premier campaign.
