YORK WOUNDS RUN TOO DEEP

I HAD a sneaking suspicion it wasn’t going to be an easy season for York City or for The Non-League Paper before a ball was kicked.
I telephoned Jason McGill, the Minstermen’s chairman, inset, in July. The purpose was simply to say hello again after the club’s few years away in the Football League, a reminder that it isn’t all bad after relegation – at least you’ve got us!
