SHOTS GOT IT RIGHT

THE recently released list of what Vanarama National League clubs paid agents last year made fascinating reading.
Top of the list was Forest Green Rovers, whose whopping £174,613 accounted for almost 70 per cent of all Non-League spending without yielding them the title they so crave. You can be sure, by the way, that Leyton Orient will not be spending in Non-League the £83,248 they spent in League Two last year.
What fascinated me most, though, was the £56 that Aldershot paid out. £56? That’s not going to feed the kids is it? I shall pray for the agent concern...
