BRIAND PIERRICK has won a deal with Corby Town following a successful trial at Steel Park.
The French centre-back linked up with the Steelmen back in June and has since featured in pre-season games with Harborough Town, Northampton Town and Stoke City.
His performances in those matches have convinced Steelmen boss Ian Sampson to hand him a contract, although the Blue Square Bet North club are still awaiting international clearance for the former Dover man.
Speaking about the signing, Sampson told the club’s website: “I am very pleased that we have managed to sign Briand, subject to international clearance.
“He has been very influential and impressive during pre-season and showed a great hunger and desire to get himself over from France for a trial at Corby.”
