BRACKLEY TOWN have secured the signing of defender Gaz Dean – the third Solihull Moors title winner to make the move to Northamptonshire.
Former England C centre-half Dean has followed in the footsteps of midfielders Adam Walker and James Armson, who had already signed for the Saints.
All three joined Solihull last summer from Nuneaton Town and helped the Moors to the National League North title.
However, the trio won’t be following Solihull into Non-League‘s top tier and have decided to link up once again with ex-Nuneaton boss Kevin Wilkin.
On the the addition of Dean, Wilkin told Brackey’s website: “Gareth has proved himself at this level, twice winning promotion. He is a fantastic leader and great competitor and I am delighted to welcome him to Brackley Town.”
Wilkin has also brought in Alex Gudger from Worcester City, Corby Town‘s Ellis Myles and AFC Rushden & Diamonds striker Jack Bowen as the Saints look for a vast improvement on last season’s 19th-place finish.
Meanwhile, forwards David Moyo and Steve Diggin and midfielder Matt Lowe have all signed new deals at St James’ Park.
