MANSFIELD TOWN midfielder Paul Bolland has returned to Harrogate Town on a season-long loan.
The 32-year-old, who includes Notts County and Grimsby Town among his former clubs, made 19 appearances for Town while on loan at the CNG Stadium last term and helped Town avoid relegation from the Conference North.
Bolland has immediately been installed as captain by Town boss Simon Weaver.
Also joining Harrogate is goalkeeper Jose Veiga.
Veiga, 35, began his career with Benfica and went on to represent FC Alverca, Levente, Real Valladoid, CF Estrela da Amadora and SC Olhanense before moving to England in 2006.
He subsequently linked up with Tamworth and has since had stints with Atherstone Town, Hereford United and Macclesfield Town.
Meanwhile, Town have revealed that Mark Cook’s move to Peruvian side Universitario is edging towards completion. All that remains to be done is for Universitario to confirm the transfer.
