THE summer clear out at Boston United has begun, with Pilgrims boss Dennis Greene releasing six players.
Greene decided against offering Jason Field, Anton Foster, Dan Haystead, Paul Lister, Gary Silk and Phil Watt new deals and they have all now left for pastures new.
Three players – Marc Newsham, Ian Ross and Spencer Weir-Daley – were already contracted for next term so will therefore be staying at the Jakemans Stadium.
Ben Fairclough, Conor Marshall, Greg Mills, Ben Milnes, James Reed, Nathan Stainfield and Tom Ward have all been offered terms for 2013/14 but are yet to make a decision on their futures.
