DAVE BAYLISS has agreed a deal that will see him remain as manager of Barrow next season.
The 36-year-old saw his side relegated from the Conference Premier last term and will work on a revised budget as they push from promotion straight back to Non-League‘s top table.
He met with the club’s board on Thursday evening and has now verbally agreed a new one-year contract at Holker Street.
Chairman Brian Keen confirmed the news to the North West Evening Mail, saying: “We’ve all shaken hands with Dave and everybody is happy – he’s our manager for next year.
“The contract will be signed, we’ve done all of the small print and we’ve shaken hands on the deal.
“Dave’s happy with the budget now, and we’ve been very tight on the budget.
“We’ve nipped it here and there and come up with joint ideas – there are no problems whatsoever.
“There are compromises in there and, we as a board, and Dave now agree that it’s a workable and competitive budget for the league we’re in and everybody is happy.”
