WORKINGTON boss Darren Edmondson has confirmed that the club will be captained by Jonny Wright will captain the club next season.
The frontman takes over from David Hewson, who has decided to hang up his boots.
Speaking about the appointment, Edmondson told the News & Star: “Jonny is a leader, and is not afraid to speak out in the dressing room. He leads by example, like David did, so he’s the natural successor.
“Jonny is our focal point in attack, and ticks all the boxes when it comes to finding a captain.”
