FORMER Fulham, Derby County, Notts County and Crawley Town defender Dean Leacock has signed for Vanarama National League South side Whitehawk.
Leacock, 31, left Crawley in the summer and made his Hawks debut on Saturday, impressing in the 6-0 thumping of St Albans City.
A former England youth international at U18, U19 and U20 levels, Leacock started his career at Fulham before joining Derby in 2006.
After six years with the Rams, the centre-half spent a season with Leyton Orient and then two with Notts County.
He signed for Crawley in 2014 and spent last season with them, making 23 appearances in League One as the Red Devils were relegated.
He has now dropped down into Non-League football with the ambitious Hawks and boss Steve King will be hoping Leacock’s addition will be a big boost for the whole club.
