MACCLESFIELD TOWN striker Kristian Dennis – the top scorer in England’s top five divisions – has been named the Vanarama National League player of the month for November.
Dennis, on loan from National League North side Stockport County, scored in all four of Macc’s games in November, netting seven goals in total to take his season’s tally to 17 already.
Grimsby Town boss Paul Hurst picked up the managers’ award, guiding the Mariners to four league wins in the month as well as FA Cup progression past St Albans City.
Kevin Wilson was named National League North manager of the month with the league leaders winning three of their four games in November, drawing the other.
Central defender Gaz Dean, formerly of Nuneaton, was given the players’ gong in the North for his performances in Solihull Moors‘ defence.
The unbeaten Moors won three of their games in November and kept two clean sheets to remain as the stingiest defence in the league.
In the South it was a double for Concord Rangers, with the Beachboys picking up four league wins as well as an FA Trophy victory over Sutton United.
Boss Adam Flanagan and goalkeeper Ben McNamara picked up the National League South awards with Concord flying up to ninth in the league.
