TONBRIDGE ANGELS have confirmed that striker Mikel Suarez is out of hospital.
The frontman suffered a horrific head injury against Farnborough on Saturday, October 13, and was admitted to Frimley Park after being sick in the dressing room following the game.
He spent over a week in intensive care before coming out of it on Tuesday and he has now been fully discharged.
A statement on the club’s website said: “Mikel has now been released from hospital and is at home with his family.
“He is obviously still very tired and he is likely to be that way for a few weeks whilst starting the road to recovery with physio etc.
“He can’t thank everyone enough for their messages of support and would like to pass that message on.”
