DORCHESTER TOWN have added winger Andy Masson to their squad.
Masson, 21, neted 18 goals in 37 games for Dorset Premier League runners-up Hamworthy Recreation last term and Magpies boss Phil Simkin feels he can make a smooth step up to Conference football.
Speaking to the Dorset Echo, Simkin said: “Andy has signed for us, he is from the Bournemouth area and he came into the game quite late.
“But he is only 21, he has a great build and really quick feet, so we have high hopes for him. He is rapid and he is good on the ball but he doesn’t quite realise how good he is.
“We can teach him and we’d like to think we have a good prospect on our hands.”
