SUTTON UNITED have signed utility man James Folkes from Ebbsfleeet United.
The 23-year-old, who can play in both defence and midfield, spent time with Tottenham Hostpur and QPR as a youngster before linking up with South coast club Eastleigh.
However, he was only with the Spitfires for a short period prior to moving to Spain to be part of the Glenn Hoddle Academy.
Folkes returned to English football last season, playing for Hayes & Yeading United prior to his arrival at Ebbsfleet in July 2012.
