FA VASE winner Andy Forbes has joined Conference South new boys Gosport Borough.
Forbes began his career at Reading before dropping down into the Non-League game to play for Andover and Winchester City.
It was while he was with the latter that he won the FA Vase and his goalscoring records at both clubs landed him a move to then-Southern League side Eastleigh in 2004.
He netted over 140 goals in six years, becoming their top scorer ever, before leaving Silverlake to join Woking.
A spell with Sutton United following prior to Forbes rejoining Eastleigh in 2011.
Over recent seasons the once prolific striker has adapted his style of play considerably, and is now viewed as a utility man renowned for his versatility.
