CYPRUS Under-19 international Michael Thalassitis has joined Ebbsfleet United on a season-long loan deal from Stevenage.
The 20-year-old has represented his country seven times since first donning a Cyprus shirt in early 2012.
Thalassitis is no stranger to loan moves having spent time with Non-League sides Boreham Wood (twice), Hayes & Yeading United, Cambridge United and Bishop’s Stortford over the past two years.
The versatile forward particularly impressed during his spells with the Wood and most recently the Bishops and is excited by the chance to demonstrate his ability while at Stonebridge Road.
Speaking to the club’s website, Thalassitis said: “I am really pleased to have been given the opportunity to play for Ebbsfleet United this coming season.
“Stevenage have been very generous in allowing me to have this season-long loan, which means I can really settle down and become a full-time member of the squad.
“I am really looking forward to this new challenge and getting to know my new teammates.”
