BISHOP’S STORTFORD manager Rod Stringer has been reunited with midfielder Nicky Symons.
Symons, 26, played under Stringer at Braintree Town during the Iron’s Conference South winning campaign in 2010/11.
He’s been with the Iron ever since, making over 80 appearances for them, but has only featured once for Alan Devonshire’s men this term.
Stringer is pleased to have been able to add him to his Bishops squad, especially after losing midfielder Steve Cawley last week.
Speaking about Symons, Stringer told the Herts and Essex Observer: “He was at Braintree when we won the league. He has got good experience and he will do a good job for us.
He added: “He is a very combative player and will complement the other midfielders we have.”
