EASTLEIGH have swooped to sign Damian Batt following the defender’s decision to quit professional football.
Batt was released by Oxford United in May after making over 160 appearances in four-and-a-half seasons with the U’s.
The 28-year-old subsequently took the decision to quit the professional football to allow him to focus on his business interests outside of the game.
Batt, formerly of Barnet, St Albans, Stevenage, Fisher and Grays, will be part of the Eastleigh squad to face Maidenhead United away on Saturday afternoon.
