PUTTING fitness first was Chris Lait’s reason for leaving Tamworth for a second time in 12 months - opting instead for a switch playing on grass with promotion rivals Bromsgrove Sporting.
Lait’s latest spell with the Lambs was his second after a move to AFC Telford United didn’t work out.
