WELCOME to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2016/17. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 25th December 2016 through to Saturday 31st December 2016. In today’s update, we name our latest Manager of the Month winners.
Well we have now reached our fourth Manager of the Month award for the 2016/17 Season. This award is for the month of December 2016.
In first place and the winner of £100 is Hectors Hero’s, they finished the month with 2,074pts. In second place and 29pts behind is Tutbarnstormers who picked up £50. In third place and just missing out was Cumbrian Exile who finished 49pts behind our winner.
Finishing in bottom place in the month of December 2016 and winning £50 is Richard’s Losers who finished with 827pts. They finished 50pts adrift from their nearest rival GeorgesMe.
The December 2016 End of Season league bonuses go to the following teams. The first named club is the league leader and the second is the bottom club. (Remember these bonus points only count towards the main points total, not Manager of the Month).
National League Premier – Tranmere R/North Ferriby. National League North – AFC Fylde/Altrincham. National League South – Maidenhead U/Bishop’s Stortford. Evo-Stik Northern Premier – Rushall O/Corby T. Ryman Premier – Bognor Regis T/Canvey Island. Evo-Stik Southern Premier – Leamington/Cinderford T The Mixture – Hereford/Rugby Town.
Each month the best and worst teams in each of the seven leagues FNL points wise are awarded 25pts and -25pts. Listed below are those teams. (Remember these points only count in the Manager of the Month calculations not the main season).
National League Premier – Bromley/Woking. National League North – Nuneaton/Gloucester City. National League South – Hemel Hempstead/Margate*. Evo-Stik Northern Premier – Stourbridge/Corby Town. Ryman Premier – Worthing/Hendon. Evo-Stik Southern Premier – Frome Town/St. Neots Town. The Mixture – Taunton Town/Northwich Victoria.
*(Both Margate & Truro City finished the month with 0pts. Margate scored less goals than Truro so Margate were awarded the -25pts).
I am well underway with your substitutions and I am very hopeful to have them all in place by next weekend’s update. It has helped that the end of December 2016 fell on a Saturday.
