WELCOME to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League 2016/17. Today’s update covers the seven-day period Sunday 12th February 2017 through to Saturday 18th February 2017.
In today’s update, I thought I would take a quick look at how close the FNL points league tables are compared to the real-world league tables.
In the National League Premier, they are both the same with Lincoln City on top and North Ferriby at the bottom. Again, in the National League North both are the same with AFC Fylde leading both tables and Altrincham at the bottom in both tables.
However, the National League South is not the same. The FNL points table is being led by Maidenhead Utd and the real-world table has Ebbsfleet Utd at the top. At the bottom, again a difference FNL it’s Bishop’s Stortford and in the real-world it is Margate.
In the Evo-Stik Northern Premier at the top it is not the same. Leading the FNL is Stourbridge and the real-world has Blyth Spartans. At the bottom of both tables is Skelmersdale Utd.
The Ryman Premier is also the same with different top teams and the same at the bottom. FNL is led by Dulwich Hamlet and in the real-world it is Bognor Regis Town at the top. Bottom club in both is Grays Athletic.
In the Evo-Stik Southern Premier both the top and bottom are the same with Chippenham Town at the top and Cinderford Town at the bottom.
The Mixture is a bit more awkward to reflect the real world as the FNL table is made up of six different real-world leagues.
Top of The Mixture is Hereford FC who are also top of the Evo-Stik South Division 1 South & West table. At the bottom of The Mixture table is Rugby Town. They are not however bottom of their table.
