DON’T forget the first 25-point FA Cup bonuses kicked in last week for teams who reached the First Round or every round thereafter.
These could make a big difference to your October Manager of the Month totals, which will be revealed next week.
Talking of cup games, I’ve had a number of calls regarding penalty shoot-outs in cup competitions.
For example, Poole Town beat rivals Wimborne Town 5-4 on penalties in the Red Insure Cup in midweek. They scored 11 points in total – 10pts because they were at home and one point for the goal they scored in the 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
Penalties scored in the shootout do not count for points.
Also, the Hinckley Utd changes are still coming in quite slowly with around 20 of you having contacted the FNL Helpdesk so far. Please remember you only have until the end of November to make your change otherwise I will have to make the change for you.
