SKRILL PREMIER champions Luton Town have opened negotiations with Dulwich Hamlet for their prolific midfielder Erhun Oztumer.
The NLP revealed the 22-year-old playmaker was manager John Still‘s first target after sealing promotion back into the Football League last month.
Hatters boss Still had made Hamlet aware he would be calling for the ex-Charlton youngster as soon as Dulwich’s Ryman Premier season was over.
Still said: “We contacted Dulwich to get permission to speak to Erhun, he’s made it clear he only wants to come to Kenilworth Road and now we’re in talks with the club over a fee.
“He’s a very talented player who wants to be part of the club.”
Oztumer, who has also spent time playing in Turkey, had also caught the eye of Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, AFC Wimbledon and Burnley, where he spent a week on trial earlier this year.
He was also named Hamlet’s Supporters’ Player and Players’ Player of the Year at the club’s awards evening last Saturday.
