BARNET summer signing Dan Bradley is set to leave the club after just two months at the Hive.
The midfielder only signed for the Bees on May 16 after an impressive season with Conference Premier surprise package Alfreton Town. His performances also led to an England C call-up.
He swapped the Impact Arena for Barnet and full-time football but has since changed his mind and wants to move back closer to his roots.
The 25-year-old now looks set to leave the Bees, with manager Martin Allen saying: “Dan was an early signing in the summer but he had a chat with a me a few times over the phone in the summer, saying that he didn’t really want to come down here and that he thought he’d made the wrong decision.
“We’ve been having a few ongoing chats that we couldn’t really disclose to the public. I’m sure that everyone will understand that legally we had to do things properly.
“It is disappointing because he is a good player but it is probably best for us and best for him that we let him go. The finalities of that are just about to be done.”
The Bees have, however, signed Charlie MacDonald and Bondz N’Gala.
