HEREFORD UNITED have been given another 42 days to pay off debts after their latest visit to the High Court this morning.
The winding-up petition originally brought by ex-boss Martin Foyle was adjourned for a seventh time and the club given six weeks to pay off their debts.
It has been reported that the Bulls reached a settlement with the main claimant Foyle and his assistant Andy Porter and that HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will now pursue the petition.
It is believed HMRC are still owed £116,000 by the Southern Premier club, who have won just one of their eight league games, three months after being thrown out of the Football Conference.
Herefordshire Council, who themselves are still owed £65,000, have said they will not attach themselves to the petition.
The club’s attempts to enter a Company Voluntary Arrangement were rebuffed after creditors rejected against the proposals last month and they will return to the High Court on October 20.
