FORMER Fulham player Rufus Brevett has left his post as manager of Arlesey Town by mutual consent.
Ex-defender Brevett took over last November but a 3-0 defeat to Chesham United on Tuesday night left Arlesey in the bottom four of the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier.
The result prompted Brevett to leave the club and Town, who have won just four of their 21 league games this season, are now on the lookout for a new manager.
Chairman Manny Cohen said: “Arlesey Town FC and Rufus Brevett have mutually agreed to end his term as manager at the club.
“The club would like to thank Rufus and his management team for the time and effort they have put into Arlesey this past year and would like to wish them well for the future.”
