IT may have been a quiet end to the transfer window for Football League fans but for Barton Rovers forward Keshi Anderson, it was a day he’ll never forget.
The 19-year-old swapped the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central for the Premier League after signing an 18-month deal for an undisclosed fee.
Anderson has already scored 16 goals for Barton this season and had recently had trials with Brentford, for whom he scored a six minute hat-trick against Palace in an U21 game.
That performance was enough to convince the Eagles to take a chance on the exciting youngster, who was also interesting Norwich City, Cambridge United and Luton Town
