RICHARD FEY has stepped up to become Paulton Rovers‘ new boss following Nick Bunyard’s resignation last week.
Bunyard stepped down after three-and-a-half years at the club, guiding them to promotion to the Southern Premier before an impressive tenth-placed finish at Step 3.
Fey joins Rovers from Bridgwater Town, who he led to 12th in the Southern Division One South & West last season. He previously served as assistant manager at Chippenham Town.
Former Chippenham boss Nathan Rudge, who Fey worked with at Town, will join Rovers as Fey’s number two.
A Bridgwater statement read: “It was announced this morning, Tuesday May 19 by chairman Richard Johnson, that first team football manager Richard Fey is leaving the club. The club will issue a further statement as more details are available.
“The club will be accepting and considering applications for the vacant position in the coming weeks, but will not be rushed into a panic decision.”
