Welcome to the latest update of a new season of Fantasy Non-League. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 10th September 2017 through to Saturday 16th September 2017.
A final reminder as we fast approach the end of September, if you can’t find your team or I have miss-spelt it please get in touch with the FNL Helpdesk (Not the paper please). Can I however ask you not to get in contact until after you have seen the full table on-line (Please note that the full table will not be on-line for a couple of days). This season as always has seen a number of incorrect entries. If you know you have made a mistake, please contact the FNL Helpdesk preferably by e-mail or text. If you had read the rules you would know that you should have 31 teams. You have until the end of this month (September 2017) to rectify this otherwise I will pick the missing teams for you.
If you have no access at all to the internet I am happy to supply a text service every two or three weeks with your position in the FNL table and the points you have scored. Please can I ask that as I do this competition all by myself that you only request the text service if you have no access to the internet at all. It is not possible for me to do hundreds of texts. If you would like to take advantage of the text service, please send a text to the FNL Helpdesk with team name and surname please.
Over the last few years I have run a number of FNL Mini-Leagues. These mini-leagues are updated every two weeks and appear on my own fantasy website. So, if there are a number of you involved in the fight for FNL supremacy then why not ask me to run you a mini-league. I do it free of charge. An example of what I mean is I have a couple mini-leagues that have run for a few years now they are a set of St Albans City supporters and Havant & Waterlooville supporters. If you would like to have you own FNL Mini-League, then again please get in touch with the FNL Helpdesk.
Finally, a couple more things. A quick mention about the rule for conceding 4 goals. The -5 point deduction only applies if the team conceding 4 goals loses the match. Secondly if you don’t see your team in the paper this does not mean we don’t have it.
