CHESTERFIELD goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell has joined Stockport County on loan for a month.
O’Donnell started out at Sheffield Wednesday and featured for the Owls’ first team on over 20 occasions, while also spending spells on loan at York City, Oldham, Grimsby Town, Alfreton Town and Macclesfield Town.
The 24-year-old signed a one-year deal with Chesterfield in the summer of 2012 but has been used sparingly by the Spirerites this term, starting 13 games in all competitions.
He has now dropped down a division to get further games under his belt with County and is could make his Hatters debut at home to Mansfield Town on Tuesday evening.
