DARRELL CLARKE has signed a contract extension that will see him continue to manager Salisbury City until the summer of 2015.
The 35-year-old arrived at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium as a player in 2007 and was named Whites captain ahead of the 2009/10 seasons.
That campaign saw the club demoted to the Southern League Premier Division due to financial problems and then-manager Tommy Widdrington left to become assistant boss of Southend United.
Clarke stepped up to fill the managerial vacancy and had immediate success, leading the Wiltshire outfit to promotion via the play-offs.
They consolidated their position in Step 2 with a 10th-place finish last season and now have their sights firmly set on the league title.
The club currently top the Conference South table, although second-placed Welling United could overtake them should they win their game in hand.
