SCOTT RENDELL has been shortlisted for The FA Cup Player of the Round award following his late winner over Norwich City on Saturday.
The well-traveled frontman netted the only goal of the game at Carrow Road on 79 minutes to make the Hatters the first Non-League outfit to beat a Premier League side.
His heroics set up a winnable Fifth Round tie at home to Millwall and also put him in with a chance of bagging a pair of tickets to the final of the competition in May.
The 26-year-old striker faces competition from four other players who helped their sides secure memorable Fourth Round shocks.
Sam Byram and Ross McCormack were both star performers in Leeds United’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, Matt Smith scored twice for Oldham Athletic in their 3-2 success over Liverpool, and John Marquis bagged the Millwall winner as they saw off Aston Villa 2-1.
