MIDFIELDER Lee Fowler has rejoined former club Forest Green Rovers for a third time, signing on loan from Doncaster Rovers.
The 29-year-old spent the 2008/09 season at the New Lawn before brief spells with Kettering Town, Oxford United, Cirencester Town and Halesowen Town.
He signed for Rovers again in June 2010 but an injury curtailed his involvement with the club and they released him in December that year.
Fowler subsequently joined Wrexham, remaining with the Welsh outfit until January 2011 when he moved to their promotion rivals Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee.
He won the Conference Premier with the Cod Army and his performances for them saw him snapped up by Doncaster in January this year.
However, with a change in management at Donny, Fowler has found first-team football hard to come by and he has now dropped back down into the Conference to spend a month with Forest Green.
Speaking about Fowler’s return, Rovers boss David Hockaday told the club’s website: “Lee is familiar with the club and players,he has experience at gaining promotion with Fleetwood and he really wants to come and play for Forest Green.”
