KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS boss Steve Burr has paid tribute to Danny Lewis and Kyle Storer, who have both signed new contracts with the club.
Both goalkeeper Lewis and midfielder Storer haveput pen-to-paper on deals running until the summer of 2015.
Lewis is the club’s first-choice stopper and has over 100 club appearances to his name, while Storer is closing in on that milestone and is currently captain at Aggborough.
Speaking after it was revealed the pair will be staying with the Worcestershire outfit, Burr told the club’s website: “Danny has been with me since day one here and was unfortunate last year.
“My feeling is that he is one of the best goalkeepers in the division and for us to be able to get him tied up for two more seasons is great.
“Kyle has grown with every game he has played for us and he has shown the type of player he is and also capable of being.
“He is very proud of what he does and is very appreciative of the lifestyle he has got and wants to make the most of it – he knows what it is like to be working full time and doing jobs that are nowhere near as glamorous as playing football for a living.
“I’ve heard him talking to the lads in the dressing room about making the most of every opportunity – he is 100% committed and loves to see players playing for the badge and the club.”
