DARTFORD have re-signed their former frontman Charlie Sheringham on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old initially joined the Darts from Bishop’s Stortford in June 2010 and went on to score over 30 Conference South goals for them in a 16-month period.
He joined AFC Bournemouth in October 2011 but suffered a serious foot injury on Boxing Day of that year and has been sidelined ever since.
Sheringham, son of former England striker Teddy, underwent surgery on the injury last year and is now back available for selection for the Cherries.
However, he lacks match fitness and his move back to Princes Park will enable him to get some valuable game time under his belt.Sheringham will remain with the Darts until April 20 and is available to feature for them against Gateshead on Saturday afternoon.
