STOCKPORT COUNTY manager Ian Bogie has added former Gateshead colleague Terry Mitchell to his coaching staff.
Mitchell held the roles of assistant manager and first team coach during a three-year stint with the Tynesiders and has now been handed the latter position at Edgeley Park.
His football CV also includes time spent coaching at the Newcastle United youth academy, a spell as director of youth at Hartlepool United and a stint in charge of Northern League outfit West Allotment Celtic.
Mitchell will work alongside Bogie and his number two Alan Lord and anticipates an exciting journey with the Hatters.
Speaking to the club’s website, Mitchell said: “I am delighted to be joining Stockport County as I see it as an opportunity to carry on my good record of improving each club that I have worked at, it is also a chance to work at a club that will see a progression of my own career.
“I am looking forward to working with Ian and Alan and having been on the opposing side at Edgeley Park in the recent past, I am fully aware that this is a massive club and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
