SKRILL have announced their Player and Manager of the Month awards for September.
Cambridge United boss Richard Money scooped the managerial prize in the Skrill Premier.
Money’s men opened up a five-point lead at the top of the table with four wins and two draws during the month, including a 3-0 victory over second-placed Nuneaton Town.
The Skrill Premier player prize went to Salisbury City‘s Elliott Frear, who scored twice for the Whites in the league, helping them to wins overs Chester FC and Nuneaton Town.
His performances on the wing were key in the Whites picking up 11 points from a possible 15 in the month.
Richard Hill was named top boss in the Skrill South after guiding Eastleigh to four wins from their four league fixtures.
Their first success of the month came at home to Bromley, who they now sit a point above at the top of the table.
The Spitfires ended September with a comfortable 4-0 home win over Mangotsfield United in The FA Cup.
Skrill South Player of the Month was Louie Theophanous of Staines Town.
The striker bagged seven goals in five games for the Swans in September, including a brace in their 3-0 FA Cup victory over Aylesbury United over the weekend.
In the Skrill North, the manager award went to Bradford Park Avenue chief John Deacey.
The Horsfall Stadium outfit won five of their six games during the month – a 2-2 draw with Solihull Moors the only blot on their otherwise perfect September copybook.
That run of results saw them shoot up the table to seventh, just three points off the play-offs, while also progressing in The FA Cup by beating league rivals Guiseley.
Elliott Durrell from Hednesford Town was named the division’s top player.
The ex-AFC Telford man has 14 goals from his 10 starts this term and his deflected free-kick in a 3-1 FA Cup win against his former side on Saturday took him to 100 goals for the club.
