THERE’S bad news for the rest of the Calor League Premier as runaway leaders Hemel Hempstead Town have further strengthened their squad!
The Tudors have won 24 of their 31 league games so far this season, scoring a mammoth 103 goals in the process that has them top by eight points and with a game in hand.
But boss Dean Brennan is always looking to add quality to his ranks and he has done just that with two new additions.
Mason Bush, a former midfielder with Tottenham, has joined the Tudors, as well as former loanee Luke Allen who arrives on a permanent deal from Skrill Premier Cambridge United.
Brennan has also secured the services of current pair Ben Mackey and Kyle Connelly for an extra two years.
The Tudors boss said: “On the recruitment side of things, we will look to strengthen our squad as in March we play seven games.
“We have brought in Mason Bush, a former trainee at Spurs, who is a young creative midfield player. I can also announce today the permanent signing of former loanee Luke Allen, who joins us from Cambridge United and has committed to Hemel with a contract to the summer of 2015.
“Ben Mackey and Kyle Connelly have both signed new 2 year contracts with us, that’s fantastic news for the club; both players joined us last summer and have so far both have had an excellent season.”
