LEAGUE ONE side Burton Albion have won the race for Grays Athletic‘s highly-rated midfielder Nathan Ferguson.
The 20-year-old has caught the eye of many Football League clubs this season with his performances for Grays in the Ryman Premier.
The former Dagenham & Redbridge youngster has been snapped up by the League One high-flyers after a week’s trial, signing a two-and-a-half year deal.
Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink could be on the verge of a move to Queens Park Rangers but Ferguson thinks Burton are the best choice to further his career.
The box-to-box midfielder told the Burton website: “I came in for a week to train and I really liked the atmosphere and all the lads made me feel very welcome. I was very keen to come here and work with the squad at Burton.
