THAMESMEAD TOWN are offering an egg-citing extra incentive for fans to attend their big Ryman North game on Good Friday.
The Mead host second bottom Barkingside (2pm kick-off) knowing a win is needed to continue their charge towards the play-off places.
With Folkestone Invicta v Walton & Hersham the only other game in the Ryman Leagues on Friday, Thamesmead are hoping for a bumper crowd at Bayliss Avenue.
And they have announced that mums and kids will be given an extra treat if they attend. Creme eggs will be given out to mums and miniature chocolate bunnies are to be handed out for the children.
Club chairman Paul Bowden Brown said: “The supporters and their families have backed us tremendously well during our recent fine run of form that has taken us right into the play-off chase – a win on Friday will take us to within a point of the top five before kick off on Easter Saturday!
“We appreciate our fans giving up part of their holidays to spend with us, and so this is just a small way of the club showing its gratitude as the “race for the play-offs” begins in earnest!”
