RYMAN SOUTH side Whyteleafe are searching for a new manger following the departure of boss John Fowler after three years in charge.
Fowler joined Leafe alongside assistant Dean Davenport from Croydon in July 2013 and guided the club to the Southern Counties East League title.
Their return to the Ryman South was a successful one with the club making the play-off semi final before narrowly losing to Folkestone Invicta.
The Surrey outfit finished 15th last term and Fowler decided to call time on his reign after Saturday’s 5-2 defeat at Ramsgate left them 19th in the table.
Rob Smith and Danny Rose have taken temporary charge and oversaw the 5-4 win over Westfield in the Surrey Cup on Tuesday night.
A club statement read: “John Fowler and Dean Davenport have resigned as first team management of Whyteleafe Football Club with immediate effect.
“The club would like to express its gratitude to John and Dean for their loyalty and commitment to the club over the last four seasons. In the meantime, the first team will be overseen by Rob Smith and Danny Rose.”
